Howden Young Farmers Club will host a Dyno Day to raise money for an East Yorkshire charity which supports young people’s mental health.
The club will be holding the event at R A Bayston’s in Gilberdyke on Sunday, March 13 to help raise cash for their chosen charity of the year, Young Minds, based in Hull. Tractor owners and spectators alike are invited to attend the event to see some local tractors in action, have some good food and raise money for a local cause. There will be prizes up for grabs for a variety of categories including for the tractor with the highest horse power and the lowest horse power, as well as for the best turned out tractor and more. One of the event organisers, Mark Cooling said: “Every year Howden Young Farmers chooses a charity to raise money for. This year we really wanted to raise money for a charity which works with young people locally, so we chose Hull charity, Young Minds.” On the day, there will also be a collection to support people escaping the conflict in Ukraine, with people able to drop off essential items such a toiletries, food and more. For more information about the day or to book in as a competitor, visit the Howden YFC Facebook page.
